SDA ARCHITECTURE

I worked on some illustrations for SDA over a year ago and, since moving to the Wirral, I realised I live a 5 minute walk from their office! They have been very kind and let me use a desk space several times a week. It's nice to be back in an architect's office after leaving my architect jobs as I still have a passion and interest in architecture.

Here are some of the illustrations I have worked on for their clients.

CALDY HOUSE - PLANNING DRAWINGS

PLANNING DRAWINGS

I was asked to draw up these proposed house elevations to assist a planning application for a residential scheme (which was successful!). To draw up the proposal I looked at a mix of existing photographs of the current house and garden, the architect's elevations and plans along with a 3D model of the new build.

As you can see there were quite a few changes made from my original drawings to the final images. Smaller design changes included editing window frames and cladding, and the larger drawing changes included things such as adding walls around the swimming pool and making amendments to the garden steps.

SALON EXTENSION - HESWALL

SDA designed an extension and some additional treatment rooms next to this beauty salon in Heswall. The client asked if I could produce 4 visuals to show the salon's new additions. This included 3 elevational illustrations and one aerial view of the site.
